My car is getting nekid for paint. Almost done. Smaller and more finicky trims and such need to come off. This probably took a couple hours max.
It’s like a large and simple LEGO kit.

Nice! Satisfying progress is satis fying.
So have you made a final decision on which color, or did I miss a post?

I love following your progress on this car. It's super inspiring. Gives me hope for my projects! What color did you decide on?

Nope. I’ve got a little more time to think it out.

Oh ho, I forgot, I was not the only Michigan Oppo restoring something from the 80s.
You planning on being at woodward this year with it?

Yep! We’re the only ones. I’m gonna be daily drivin g this as much as possible once it’s all back together! Woodward is only 10 minutes from my house.

I probably won’t, at least not until August. I think I’m just going to get historic plates for it and cruise on friday/saturday nights and do radwood and woodward. It lacks A/C and lacks power. Well, it lacks power for now.

I took the AC outta mine (I can put it back in later if I want less engine sp ace). I hope this is done before the dream cruise and radwood.

When are you planning on getting paint started?

Once I’ve acquired 50% of the funds. Almost there.

Nice. I’m looking forward to it.

I think t wo-tone would actually look great , not like the example Manwich posted, but instead along the crease.
